Questions
Booking, take-down and the rest
When should I book?
Install weeks fill in the order requests come in, so October gives you the most choice. The shop confirms your week in writing.
Who takes the lights down, and when?
We do. Take-down is booked with your install, in January, and your estimate says which week.
What if a section goes out in December?
Text a photo to our text line. We come back and fix it. Service visits during the season are on the estimate.
Do I need an outdoor outlet?
Most houses have one, but it may share a circuit that is already busy. We check it at the measuring visit and, if needed, an electrician adds a new one.
Do you do emergency work?
No. Our crews work shop hours, and a dark section waits for the next service visit. If something smells hot, sparks, or a wire is down, call 911, then us.
Are you licensed and insured, and how do I check?
Our license is in the footer of every page, with the state board that issued it. Look us up with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, and ask us for the insurance certificate.
What does the estimate cover?
Install, service visits through the season and take-down, listed by run. It says what is not included, such as a new outdoor circuit.
Is permanent trim allowed on my house?
Usually, but some neighborhoods and leases have rules. We ask about them at the survey.
Still a question?
Call or text, or send the address and we'll answer at the measuring visit.
